That I have done recently. Lucy, it would help a lot if you would just move back up here and scrap with me! Not only would I get more done, but I could make you help me with titles and
journaling!
LOL, you know I am bad about getting those done. All of these need title help and
journaling, any suggestions are welcome. They can't go into my albums until that is done, so right now they sit in a pile homeless.
This first layout is of my son and his cousins on our first trip without Dad. The page on the right is two 4x6 storage page protectors that are glued together and then folded to make a gate fold layout. The layout opens to hold 12 photos in pockets (the train pictures). I have plans to glue this piece directly to a page protector in my album. The colors used are gray wool and flannel, ocean, honey, cranberry, black and white daisy. Stamp sets are Adorning Corners, Journaling Jots, Enjoy the Journey, Adorable Alphabet, and Frame of Mind. The trains are colored and then covered with a window charm. The ribbon is from the holiday ribbon rounds. The frames also have some doodling.

I really need a title for this one, but two would be better! I have a whole other layout to do of Ky in a cowboy hat with his Auntie. These papers are from the Aspen set. The ribbon is from the holiday ribbon rounds. The cardstock is indian corn blue. The stamp set (stars) is Shining Stars. I colored the stars in some to draw attention to them.

I have been working on this next layout for a couple years (bad I know), but I finally found the perfect technique for the title. It's call faux alligator. You can make it by taking a piece of cardstock and covering it with a sticky clear ink, sprinkle on clear ep and then draw lines in the ep with a bone folder or other similar object. Heat set and then ink to distress, and there you have it perfect leather look. The tags are from my nesties. This is just like my husband to pick up a wild creature and give a lesson as to why it is harmless. In this case he demonstrate rubbing a lizard's middle to make it play dead. It did for 3 minutes before scampering away. Just wait 'til you see the layout I am going to do with the snake bite he got on our road trip for our anniversary! As long as my kids don't pick up the habit, I can live with it, LOL.

These next two layouts are both 9x9 (I put all sizes of pages in the same scrapbook album). This first one is of our very large cat Boo. You can't tell by the picture, but he is more than 20 pounds and can reach my waist when he stretches against my leg. He is not a very social cat, but likes his way. I have had to take a picture of him because once a year he disappears for at least a 2 weeks and I always go to the pound to file a report. It's easier to just give a picture.
The layout uses brown bag, juniper, spring iris, honey and sorbet paper, with the pattern coming from the Perfect Day pack. The accessories are twill ribbon, rubbons, letter stickers, dimensional elements, and strips and minis. The scallop was done with my corner rounder. The stamp set is retired, called Purrfect.

This last layout was inspired by Stacy Julian when I took her Library of Memories Class at BPS. She made a layout symbolizing this same event with her son. Cody still asks for me to remove tags when he finds them, but most clothes now have the printed in labels, so I don't anticipate the same problem with Ky. The cardstock is desert sand, cranberry, outdoor denim, and colonial white. The circles were cut with coluzzle and the tags from his cloths were glued around. The large T is from one of the alphabet sticker sets by CTMH and the rest of the letters are CTMH rubbons. The stitching is all done with the new floss.
